Alvi “The Spartan” Dasuyev, a former Belgian IMMAF rep, turned pro in May 2024. He’s been making noise ever since. With a 17-3 amateur record and national titles, he entered the pro ranks as one of Belgium’s most seasoned prospects. His start has backed up the hype. Dasuyev fought seven times and finished every opponent all in sixteen months.
“The Spartan” is a thrill for any fight fan. He’s an aggressive striker and a determined finisher, frequently unleashing explosive techniques. Flying knees, high kicks, and punishing body shots, all to overwhelm opponents. His most recent performance came in September at LFA 218. He faced veteran Daniil Prikaza, a Russian striker with 25 professional fights. Prikaza proved to be the toughest challenge of Dasuyev’s pro career, pushing him beyond round one for the first time. After a competitive start, Dasuyev took over with clean, sharp striking. Dasuyev landed a spectacular flying before finishing the fight with ruthless ground-and-pound.
Dasuyev’s style blends heavy, dynamic striking with a strong clinch and a reliable submission game. Fighting at a high pace from the opening bell, he uses his significant size and reach at 170 pounds – standing over six feet tall and possessing long limbs – to dictate range or dominate in close quarters.
As an amateur, Dasuyev had a decorated run. He won the 2021 Belgian Cup at welterweight and captured the VMMA welterweight title at Versus MMA 7. He reached the semifinals of the 2022 IMMAF European Championships and scored wins over top prospects, Jordan Zébo (9–1) and Patrick Habirora (7–0). His win over Zébo was especially noteworthy, as he caught a body kick late in the second round and ended the fight with two clean right hands.
On November 29, 2025, Dasuyev is scheduled to defend his AEC welterweight title against veteran Kevin Ruart at AEC 16 in Rouen, France. He claimed the championship earlier in June by defeating the previously unbeaten Tyrone Pfeifer and looks to extend his flawless finishing streak.
With a growing highlight reel of knockouts and submissions, Alvi Dasuyev is widely viewed as one of Belgium’s hottest prospects heading into 2026 – a surging talent with all the tools to break onto the global stage.
