Tuff-N-Uff 151 – Who to Watch

For over a decade, Tuff-N-Uff has been a staple for the American regional scene. Given the privileged location of Nevada where it runs, many former prospects have fought in this company. Here are the most relevant ones for their next event.

Tyshawn Williams

Tyshawn Williams has quietly built one of the more intriguing undefeated records on the regional scene, and a win here could be exactly what’s needed to put him on the short list for a Dana White’s Contender Series call-up.

The former SIUE collegiate wrestler has developed into a genuinely complete MMA fighter, blending strong wrestling credentials with increasingly polished kickboxing fundamentals and a pressure-heavy style that forces opponents to fight at his pace.

Williams is at his best when he’s moving forward. He uses a steady striking approach to close distance and create the openings he needs to transition into takedowns. Once the fight hits the mat, his wrestling base takes over where he is specially effective at controlling position.

His stock rose significantly after a dominant performance over veteran Alfred Walker, and another statement win over an undefeated and dangerous opponent like Habibullo Azizov could launch Williams into the conversation among the top featherweight prospects in the world, as well as firmly establish him as a serious future contender in the UFC pipeline.

Habibullo Azizov

Despite some recent inactivity, Habibullo Azizov has built an impressive 10-0 record that has directly placed him onto the Tuff-N-Uff title picture.

The 25-year-old Tajik featherweight is a complete fighter with a remarkable sambo background and has been recently trying to fight some of the best featherweight prospects in the world like Ansar Khamzaev (cancelled) and Mochamed Machaev (NC).

Azizov’s fight history shows he thrives everywhere the fight goes. He’s finished opponents via TKO and submission, while also showing the cardio to grind out decisions.

With him training now at Syndicate MMA, a win against Tyshawn Williams should put Azizov on the radar of most major promotions.

Renato Canuto

Despite recently beginning his professional MMA career, Renato Canuto has quickly established himself as one of the best prospects on the regional scene.

The Brazilian practiced BBJJ at an elite level and is considered one of the most accomplished grapplers of his generation.

Even with these accolades, Canuto’s transition to MMA has been super impressive, showing really solid striking while evolving his ground game into an MMA repertoire, with some G&P skills that have shown how elite his fight IQ is.

While I don’t expect to learn a lot that’s new from Canuto in this week’s fight, gaining some experience against a 25-fight veteran should be good to get some more octagon experience. With his background and his recent performances, we should see Canuto in a big company in no time.

Sal Everett

Sal Everett is an interesting guy to follow as he is already a UFC employee at a different role, so following his development demands curiosity, regardless of the outcome.

With that said, Everett career has been extremely dominant with a 100% finish ratio across both his pro and amateur careers, finding wins via KO or submission and proving the diversity in his skillset.

Everett is at his best while on the ground, showing good defensive instincts every time the fight goes there. He has a good 6’3′ frame for middleweight. which helps him impose his boxing background.

If Everett keeps finding early finishe, it should be a matter time before he is double-employed by the UFC.

Spartak Mikayelyan

2025 definitely was the best year in the young career of 21-year0old Spartak. The Armenian not only won the gold medal in the IMMAF Worlds at 74.8 Kg, but he was also crowned the best amateur fighter of 2025.

Going 15-3 as an ammy, Spartak has proven to be an expert in grappling, with multiple finishes coming via chokes or armbars. His last ammy title was truly remarkable, as he had to go through 5 fights in 5 days to win gold.

This might be one of the most relevant pro debuts of the year, and Spartak is certainly one of the young pros you should watch for in 2026.

Smilla Sundet

Speaking of pro debuts, Muay Thai phenom Smilla Sundet will be making her MMA debut on this card too. You can check out this article from Cedric (@MMA__Matchmaker on X) for a full breakdown.
