Men’s Senior IMMAF Fighters to Watch

The 2026 IMMAF European Championships in Belgrade, Serbia is underway and already delivering on the hype, and the Senior Men’s brackets are where things start to get dangerous. This year’s field features a mix of battle-tested veterans and emerging talents who look more like future professionals than amateurs. These are the fighters to be watching closely as the tournament heats up.

Harvey Moore (12-1), 23, Light Heavyweight, Team England

If the professional ranks need anyone to turn pro, it’s Team England’s Harvey Moore. Turned away in October by rival Vincent Yerly for the first loss of his career, Moore will be looking to make a big statement this time around. With seven knockouts and three submissions to his name, Moore catches a bye in the first round of the bracket. He will now face Team Croatia’s Marko Mioc in the Quarterfinals ahead. Perhaps the most feared fighter in the entire tournament right now, everyone should fully expect Moore to crush his opponents and pick up a couple more finishes while on his way to a successful pro debut.

Rafiullah Safi (9-3), 22, Bantamweight, Team Belgium

Rafiullah Safi is coming off the biggest victory of his career, scoring a unanimous decision victory over the undefeated Faqar Mohammed. It’s no shock Safi is giving the IMMAF bracket another go. Safi has turned around what looked like a lost career. After losing his first three amateur bouts, he’s on a nine-fight winning streak. That includes scoring a round-one knockout over the currently undefeated pro, Harun Kurt. Representing Team Belgium, Safi will face Levani Shainidze of Georgia, and is a personal favorite of mine to make some serious noise in the bantamweight tournament.

Bohdan Voloshyn, 22, Super Welterweight, Team Ukraine

“The Serpent” takes on Finland’s Arlex Blomqvist as an IMMAF veteran representing Team Ukraine in the Senior’s Super Welterweight division. Bohdan Voloshyn has an impressive resume, notably scoring a round one TKO victory over Jovidon Makhmudov. Also, a split decision against the world-renowned Gimbat Magomedov. Expect the 22-year-old to cinch up a few early submissions and put on another quality run throughout the tournament.

Marc Cabrera(12-3), 22, Bantamweight, Team Spain

Originally scheduled for one of the highest-level amateur fights ever against Diego Esteche at WOW25, Cabrera Roman instead will enter his second run at the gold in IMMAF Senior’s Bantamweight bracket. Following up a second-place performance in the fall with a loss to Joe Frodsham, Roman will be granted a bye in the first round of this season’s tournament. Team Spain’s 21-year-old is widely regarded as one of the Senior Bantamweight tournament favorites and will be eagerly awaiting his first opponent of the tournament.

Oneel Agbanama (5-0), 22, Super Welterweight, Team Germany

After debuting in 2023, it wasn’t until this past October that Agbanama stepped into the octagon for his second MMA fight. Fast forward to 2026, and Agbanama is coming fresh off a tournament victory at GEMMF, looking to put his undefeated record on the line. When in a dominant position, watch out for Agbanama to unleash crushing ground and pound, looking for the finish or soften up his opponent for the submission. Agbanama’s first draw of the tournament will be against Bulgaria’s Georgi Nedkov.

Mozane Malivert (15-2-1), 25, Super Welterweight, Team France

Mozane Malivert is making his IMMAF tournament debut following a long, successful eighteen fights across France’s amateur circuit. The 25-year-old Malivert is at his best when walking down his opponents, mixing up his targets and putting a high volume of strikes early and often. Malivert’s most impressive performance came in a 10-second knockout victory at LJF Championship 2 back in January 2025 over the now 3-2-0 Sam Kachani. Representing France, Malivert will now be looking to extend his 8-fight win streak into the IMMAF ranks, facing Team Georgia’s Giorgi Lomashvili.
