Mora has been in the fight game for a while, but he hasn’t been as active as you’d like. Still, his time at Freedom Fighters in Florida has kept him sharp whenever he steps into the cage. Outside of MMA, Mora has a strong wrestling background, including competing as a representative for Cuba at the Pan-American Wrestling Championships.

Mora is coming off a highlight-reel knockout, but don’t let that fool you into thinking he’s a striker—he’s far from it. His biggest physical trait is elite athletic explosiveness. He fights out of a slightly flat-footed stance, but uses that stillness to spring into sudden entries and reactions that opponents don’t read well.

He’s not a high-volume striker, but his timing, athletic reactions, and ability to punish entries—especially with knees—make him dangerous in transitions. His striking is most effective when used to set up his grappling rather than extended exchanges. Defensively, he also shows a tendency to shoot immediately after getting hit clean, which speaks to both his wrestling instincts and his comfort in that phase.

Mora has strong chain wrestling, consistent shot volume, and the ability to re-shoot and re-engage when his initial attempts are defended. His takedown defense is solid as well, and he’s shown he can scramble back to his feet quickly even against competent wrestlers. Once on top, he’s comfortable controlling position and working toward back takes. His grappling is submission-oriented but built on pressure. He’s most dangerous when he can connect his wrestling to back control, where he aggressively hunts rear-naked chokes with urgency and efficiency.

Overall, Mora profiles as a powerful, wrestling-first athlete whose explosiveness helps mask gaps in his striking. His game is most effective when he’s dictating pace through wrestling pressure. That said, he’s not clearly the best wrestler or grappler in the house, which makes his ceiling limited in a format like this.
