WOW FC (Way of Warrior FC) has quickly established itself as one of the most important MMA promotions in Spain. Over the years, WOW FC has built a reputation for hosting well-produced events and competitive matchups, attracting both Spanish prospects and international talent. The promotion also benefits from the involvement of major figures in the sport and beyond, including UFC champion Ilia Topuria and global football icon Cristiano Ronaldo as investors. With several events held each year and broadcasts on UFC Fight Pass, WOW FC continues to grow as an important platform for emerging European fighters.
WOW 29 takes place on April 11 at the Roig Arena in Valencia. The 11-fight card showcases rising European talent. In the main event, Enoc Solves Torres defends his light-heavyweight title against Daniel Ladero. The lineup blends experienced regional fighters with promising prospects. Here’s who to watch this weekend.
Damian Rzepecki (9-0) – Lightweight

Damian Rzepecki is one of the most promising young fighters to emerge from the Polish MMA scene in recent years. The lightweight prospect has quickly built an impressive reputation since turning professional in 2021. Training out of Top Fit Center in his hometown, Rzepecki rose rapidly through the regional ranks. He became the lightweight champion of the Polish promotion Fight Exclusive Night (FEN). Still early in his career, he is undefeated, with every win coming before the final bell, highlighting his aggressive, finish-oriented style.
Technically, Rzepecki is a very well-rounded fighter whose game blends strong grappling with increasingly dangerous striking. His background includes success in submission grappling, notably winning a Polish ADCC title earlier in his career. That foundation is clearly visible in his fights. On the ground, he shows excellent control, quick transitions, and a strong instinct for submissions. It’s allowed him to secure numerous finishes by choke or joint locks.
What makes “The Butcher” particularly intriguing is his ability to threaten opponents everywhere. While many of his early wins came through submissions, he has also demonstrated real knockout power. He’s scored stoppages with knees, punches, and body shots. His striking continues to evolve, and he combines pressure, physicality, and timing to overwhelm opponents.
At just 23 years old, Rzepecki already looks like a complete lightweight prospect. He has a perfect finishing rate and FEN championship experience. With his rapidly improving skills, he could reach the sport’s biggest stages. His co-main event fight at WOW 29 will also mark his UFC Fight Pass debut. I don’t think it will be long before Rzepecki makes the leap into the UFC, especially against Corneliu Rotaru Lascar (13-7). Lascar has lost over 70% of his fights by finish.
David Hervias (2-0) – Middleweight

David “The Boogeyman” Hervías is one of the most promising middleweight prospects to emerge from the Spanish amateur scene in recent years. Born in Spain and representing The Black Panther Gym, Hervías built an outstanding amateur résumé before turning professional in 2025. During his amateur career, he captured major international success. That includes European titles at the IMMAF championships and a medal at the IMMAF World Championships. He established himself as one of the standout talents of his generation in European amateur MMA.
His rise through the amateur ranks was particularly impressive because of the way he finished fights. At the 2024 IMMAF European Championships, Hervías ran through the tournament by submitting every opponent he faced. He secured victories with techniques such as triangle chokes, rear-naked chokes, and arm-triangle chokes. This dominant run highlighted both his technical grappling and his composure under pressure in tournament settings. Overall, his amateur stage ended with a 20-2 record. His only losses were to Sultan Omarov and Qosim Sardorov, two highly touted wrestlers.
Hervías made his professional debut in June 2025 and carried his hype into the pro ranks. He stopped Ricards Ozols by first-round TKO. He then followed up with a clear unanimous decision over Jhonatan Venancino. His record was 2-0, both wins in the Spanish promotion WAR.
Technically, Hervías stands out for his well-rounded skill set and strong finishing instincts. Standing around 6’4’’ at 185, he brings an unusual frame for the division. The length allows him to control distance on the feet and apply leverage during grappling exchanges. On the mat, he is particularly dangerous thanks to his submission chain attacks and ability to transition smoothly between positions. A skill developed during his extensive amateur experience.
With his size, grappling skills, and aggressive finishing style, Hervías has quickly become one of Europe’s most intriguing young middleweight prospects. He also shows clear potential to rise in the years ahead. At WOW 29, he’ll face Yunus Emre Batan (1-0), a Turkish boxer we’ve mainly seen in BKFC. It’s a good chance for Hervías to add another submission to his resumé.
Antonio Fofirca (3-0) – Welterweight

Antonio Fofirca is a young Spanish lightweight prospect competing in the rapidly growing European MMA scene. Born in Spain and fighting out of Madrid, he represents The Black Panther Gym, an up-and-coming room that has recently stepped up its game in the country. Since turning pro in 2025, Fofirca has quickly built an undefeated record, winning his first three professional bouts with WOW FC.
Fofirca first gained attention during his professional debut at WOW 18 in Sevilla. There, he stopped his opponent with punches and elbows just 11 seconds into the fight. The performance immediately put him on the radar as a prospect to watch from Spain. He followed that up with a quick first-round submission victory via heel hook against Erasmo Silva, before earning a unanimous decision win over Dara O’Sullivan in Madrid. This perfect start to his pro career completes quite well Fofirca’s amateur career, in which he went 15-3.
Technically, Fofirca has proven to be a well-rounded fighter. He already has a knockout, a submission, and a decision in his first three fights, showing he isn’t reliant on a single discipline. At 6’2’’ for a lightweight, he also brings a rare frame to the division, giving him natural reach and leverage in striking and grappling.
Looking at his standup, his debut knockout showcased fast hands and the ability to capitalize instantly when an opening presents itself. On the ground, his heel hook victory highlighted sharp submission awareness and a clear willingness to attack the legs, an approach that’s relatively uncommon among young prospects. Combined with his size, composure, and aggressive finishing instincts, Fofirca has already established himself as a dangerous and versatile fighter.
His fight at WOW 29 will be held outside his usual weight category. He moves up to 170 to face Jhonatan Venancino (4-1), a Peruvian who fought Fofirca’s teammate David Hervias at middleweight in his last trip into the WOW cage.
Mor Dieye (3-0) vs Nicolas Medina (1-0) – Lightweight

I decided to showcase both of those fighters together since this is a prospect vs prospect fight.
Mor Dieye is an undefeated lightweight prospect fighting out of Gijón, Spain, with roots in Senegal. Representing Centro Deportivo Tibet, Dieye turned professional in 2025 and quickly built a 3-0 record. He’s finished every opponent inside the distance thus far. His record already includes first-round stoppages over Firat Sabaz and Antonio Roberto. Dieye also has a first-round rear-naked choke submission against Misha Goriashvili.
Standing around 5’7”, Dieye competes at lightweight with an aggressive, finish-oriented style. Two of his wins came via ground-and-pound, showing his ability to impose pressure once the fight hits the mat. With a perfect finishing rate and experience headlining regional cards, he has quickly emerged as a prospect to watch. His tape also shows a risky style. That aggression could leave him open to being clipped sooner rather than later.
Nicolas Medina, known as “Nico,” is a Spanish featherweight prospect who also began his pro MMA career in 2025. He stands 5’6’’ and usually competes in the 145-pound division. Medina currently holds a 1-0 professional record after submitting Rachid Archaoui with an arm-triangle choke at WOW 24. Before turning pro, Medina already gained experience inside the cage with an amateur victory at WOW 19. There, he defeated Victor Rodriguez by unanimous decision. His background is heavily rooted in grappling disciplines. He’s competed in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, sambo, judo, and wrestling, where he collected multiple national and international titles.
Medina is also a regular training partner of Ilia and Aleksandre Topuria, which brings a dose of experience that might be greater than some fights in the cage. With a strong base in multiple grappling arts and early success in MMA, Medina could develop into a dangerous submission-oriented fighter and give Dieye a run for his money.
