10 Welterweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2026

Arguably the best prospect in Canada, 🇨🇦Adam Posener (5-0) will headline the @BattlefieldFL card planned for the weekend of #UFCVancouver. The event should be #BFL85 and with the UFC brass in town,

Adam Posener, 21, Canada, 6-0-0

It feels like in every fight Adam Posener has, he’s trying to showcase a new facet in his submission game. In just six professional fights, Primetime Posener has submitted five of his opponents, all with different techniques. The Canadian has had a quick rise since turning pro in 2024, earning and defending the BFL championship this past year.

Posener has a standout ability; he’s able to take the back with ease, where he’s constantly threatening submissions with a calm demeanor on the ground. While his striking is still generally a question mark in such a young career with several early finishes, he’s been able to mix it up with some quality low kicks and jabs. Right now, Posener’s submission prowess is UFC-level. If given the opportunity, he could make quick work of some of the one-dimensional strikers and develop into a more dangerous fighter at the same time. Who knows, by 25 years old, Posener could be a UFC champion.
