#7 Brad Fulmer (3-1)
Featherweight
23 Years Old – Gracie Jiu Jitsu Smeaton Grange
Fulmer is the least experienced fighter on this list, but he thoroughly deserves this spot in the rankings. Coming back from an over two-year layoff, Fulmer absolutely dominated the highly touted Kage Fisher to become the Path to Hex Featherweight Champion.
Fulmer is a technically-savvy wrestler with a growing stand-up game that ultimately puts him in a strong position to mix in takedowns and initiate the grappling exchanges he seeks. Fulmer controls well, can find submissions, and has vicious ground-and-pound. Against Fisher, he was able to showcase many of these different aspects of his game, as well as showing he can work his way back to his feet against someone who is known to have really strong grappling. Fulmer hit a variety of trips, singles, and doubles to secure takedowns in this fight. Mixing these exchanges in nicely with his striking to leave Fisher constantly guessing and, for the most part, on the back foot.
I’m excited to see what Fulmer can do in 2026 as he targets more activity. I feel like with some of the names above on this list likely make the jump to the professional ranks in 2026. Paired with the improvements I expect to see from him, that Fulmer could very well be one of the top amateurs this time next year, or if not pretty close to it.
