Aimoto is yet another lower-weight class prospect coming out of Japan that has been busy producing a lot of good prospects over recent years. Aimoto is the DEEP champion and hasn’t moved on to RIZIN, which suggests that he’s holding out for a UFC opportunity. As a fighter, he’s very aggressive and is prone to getting into wars. He seems very calm in the fire as he marches his opponents down until he gets them out of there.
An exciting guy like this should absolutely be on the UFC’s radar. Aimoto seems like an ideal candidate for the 2026 Road to UFC tournament.
