Shane Collins

A1 Combat champion Shane Collins is the American featherweight prospect I’m most excited about at the moment. In 2025, he really stepped his game up by winning and defending the belt in Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat promotion. Doing that on a visible platform airing on Fight Pass has to be good for his UFC aspirations.
Style-wise, Collins is exciting to watch. He provides lots of pressure and output, working his striking at all levels, with very good body work as well. His cardio is also very impressive. When he has been extended to the distance by resilient fighters, he’s maintained a high level of output for all three rounds. His ability to measure his distance with his pressure well and avoid falling into the clinch is impressive.
Collins has a fight lined up in early January. If he wins and gets another defense of his A1 Combat title, that should surely put him in a good position to get into the UFC in 2026.
