10 Lightweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2026

Abdullo Khodzhaev (8-1)

After a dubious decision loss to Gamid Khizriev in 2024, Khodzhaev had a big return in 2025. Rebounding with three straight wins, reminding us how good he is. Khodzhaev is a polished striker who makes great use of his kicks. His grappling is where he’s at his best. His cardio and IQ are high-level too, making him dangerous everywhere at any time.

2026 should be the year where he effectively establishes himself as the top lightweight outside a big league. One or PFL could also be options in the short-term future.
