10 Lightweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2026

Cristian Perez (13-2)

Despite being the only prospect in this list coming of a loss, it’s impossible not to mention “Púas”. He arguably had two rounds ahead of highly regarded Manoel Sousa before fading in his DWCS fight last season. His cardio might’ve failed him that day, but Perez was able to display his full arsenal of tools. He did so on the biggest prospect platform in the world, making him one of the highest floor guys in the entire list.

I see no other option for Perez’s future other than a DWCS return or a UFC short-notice call. I’m pretty confident we will be speaking about him as a UFC fighter in 2026.
