Renato Canuto (2-0)
In a list where most of these names are young guns with a lot of MMA experience it may be surprising to see 29-year-old 2-0 Renato Canuto. The thing is, he’s considered one of the best grapplers of his generation. His elite BJJ background has translated perfectly to MMA in addition to some solid striking fundamentals.
While it may be too early, Canuto could absolutely be in next season’s DWCS. Even if we need to see him taking a step up in competition, the little things we’ve seen seem extremely promising.
